mike_yazzy
Hello, I posted a topic about my current monitor a while back. It's a Dell Ultrasharp but the problem is it's only 6-bits, a real problem for accurate color and contrast in post processing. Does anyone have any suggestions for a monitor that is reasonably priced and will serve my photographic needs of accurate color? Some even suggested a CRT monitor and that is not out of the question if need be. Maybe I could have a two monitor set up even! Thanks for the help. dmanthree
I've used a number of LCD screens, and none can match the inexpensive HP1130 I always go back to. Maybe there's an LCD screen out there that's good and I just haven't seen it. I prefer CRTs.

jammer_jammer
When my Trinitron CRT dies, I have my eyes on this reasonably priced LCD. If you don't want to read the whole review, skip ahead a few pages to the conclusion.<p> http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/03/27/the_spring_2006_lcd_collection/page25.html
brian.
I use a Sony Arrtisan monitor. It comes with color calibration tools, I can work in different color spaces, and it's a CRT so what you see is much closer to what to what you get. IMO.
