Each participant please post no more than just one image per weekly thread.

A recently fledged bald eagle chick, which is about three-months old. This nest is in a suburban area by a school. The eagle is on the ground with school buildings in the background.

You are lucky to be able to wield a camera anywhere near a school without the local 'window spies' calling the authorities. I've been stopped merely walking along a local road past a block of flats on the way to the local Nature Reserve.

No luck involved. It is the difference between living in the U.S. with a written Constitution and living in the UK.

We can because it is the summer recess now. During the school year, adults that don’t need to be there (other than parents of the students, teachers ...) cannot be on campus from like 6:30 to 6:30. Therefore I mainly go there during weekends since some of the best angles are from school ground.
