A momma Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) as seen on a commercial airboat ride in Everglades National Park, Florida, USA. Her baby was nearby, across the channel. Shot in deep shadow while set up for birds in full sun, so somewhat noisy at the resultant ISO 5000 and processing in LR5.

Many thanks to Gary and Shun for starting the threads while I was on travels.
