miguel_curbelo Posted April 14, 2004 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I know it is not a nice thing to say, but there is something so brutal and at the same time so dull and banal in these thugs' faces that it is more than reassuring to see them handcuffed. I think if pictures such as these were more widely published they would easily help to lessen any appeal their vicious racism might have among certain people. moiz Posted April 14, 2004 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I got the opposite feeling, that these guys, who look like taxi drivers some of them, are just along because their mates are going. They do look bored. Its almost as if they know that what they are doing makes no difference and will have no effect. From what I've seen of Brians photos, he great at capturing the emotions in the air - he either missed it this time or it simply wasnt there. Im sure Brian will fill us in on the details, but the number of police there im sure had an effect on the mood of the day.
