Any b&w photo books by Blurb? How was the reproduction? Any issues with slight color casts like greenish or blueish or redish?

pbalko
I can't answer your questions, Russ, but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed leafing through your book. I found it quite inspirational, especially as you've included several photos of my home town.
leicaglow
Russ, My only B&W book on Blurb, "Iridescent Light", does pretty well. It's about Stand Development for film (http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/533375). Occasionally I have seen copies where the registration looks off (other books as well as my own). I have pointed out this flaw with Blurb, and they will reprint the book for you.
russmarshall
Thanks Michael and Phil. Phil, Thanks for the link to Johnstown. I just spent many minutes checking out all the photos by balko. The snow storm pics remind me of when I was there in April this year. I was there for some family events for about 4 days. I have several family members there from my mother's side. I was born in South Fork. I'm sure you know it. Have a cousin there still. My grandfather is part of the history of the 1889 damn brake and flood of Johnstown. The photo in the book was shot from the observation deck at the top of the incline in 1968.

mark_starr
Russ,
Glad I stumbled across this tonight. Really nicely done book, and what a lot of work it must have been to gather all of the materials! You have some terrific photos in there - I really love your portraits, and the book is very inspiring for me. Congratulations on a job very well done and thanks for sharing your accomplishment with us -
mark
