clark_roberts
Hi all, Well my Sony A700 experience wasn't to good (bad focusing), so on ebay there was a Minolta 7D camera for $19.95 for bid and it looks like it went though the ringer and I won it. When I received it there was glue on the control knob on top and back button for the memory and ISO button, When the battery recharged the camera did turn on but the ISO and memory screen would come on and off the screen. So I removes the back panel and had to clean the buttons out, put it all back together and it all worked and takes pretty nice pictures to boot, it really tells you the quality of the Konica/ Minolta camera's after all these years laying around it still works. Here's some pictures of the finished camera. and all my cleaning stuff.
ramin m
This was my first digital camera for which I paid C$2000 brand new. I really liked it but eventually it became obsolete and Konica Minolta couldn't survive. I am using a Sony mirrorless system now.
John Seaman
Fine job on the 7D, well done. For some reason I by-passed the KM DSLR's and went straight to a Sony Alpha 100 then a 900 which I still use. I think there early Sonys were very much Minolta designed.
clark_roberts
It's still a great camera, I purchased a few Minolta and Sony lenses at great prices and there really sharp and the camera focuses on the spot. I did have a Canon 5D Classic and wasn't happy with the lenses.
