I picked-up an MW-2 transmitter cheap and I want to change the crystal to work with the Spiratone unit, so I need the proper crystal. I have the frequency, but the crystal sellers want to know if it is AM or FM. I have the instruction and factory tech service manuals for the MW-1, but there is no info regarding whether the crystal is AM or FM. Any of you who've built your own remotes have an idea of what is correct? Heck, I can even tune the frequencies on my scanner and hear them operate. I just don't want to waste extra money, disassembly and soldering time putting in the wrong crystal. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
