leslie_cheung
Do you think it's appropriate to shoot in multiple formats for a single documentary project? Multiple formats not as in b+w / color but as in 35mm / square / pano. Do you think they would detract too much attention away from the subject? john_elder1
Multiple formats can definitely be very sucessful.Best example that comes to my mind is Bruce Davidson's "Central Park", a great book. He uses all kinds of formats 35mm, 120mm, panorama. square, and it really works. Check it out, a good book for you library!
preston_merchant
Another is Jonathan Torgovnik's "Bollywood Dreams" about India's film industry--some 35 mm, some medium format. All excellent.
