erik_l.
Brian, There are some great images in there. Well done. The only comment I would make is that your slide transitions are WAY to fast. Erik.
michaelging
Well done photo story , many good and some great photos with a well told story. I bet that camera smelled a little Smokey.

brian_minnich
OFD = Orlando Fire Department I played with the transitions quite a bit, but I felt it was necessary to keep the pace going for a 3 minute presentation. The camera was definitely smokey for a week or so. Thanks for the feedback.
blowingsky
I really liked the angles you picked and the negative and positive elevations. The post processing looked a little stepped on (PS); however, although it took away from the realism just a bit, it added to the feeling of smokey grittiness. Your decision to only allow a little light on the firefighters against the day really worked emotionally. Which fuji neg did you use and at what speed? david_l3
Excellent work. I liked your use of the 24mm. The vehicle accident scene hit home for me. Once the local VFD helped extract me from an upside down vehicle and later I helped out at a training tower as a mock victim. The smoke smell permeated everything. I know what your MP must have smelled like.
michael s.
A number of very strong photos, Brian. Have any of the firefighters seen these ? Curious about their reactions ?
brian_minnich
400H & a roll or two of 1600 inside the blackout rooms. Firefighters dug it.

scott squire nonfiction
Great presentation! Lovely processing (would like to hear/see more details about that). Also (and this is important): great job lensing. This is a one lens story, yeah? Way to leverage what many would think of as a limitation. I bet the firefighters love it. Congrats

kristian dowling
Not to take aways from others' images her on the site, it is extremly refreshing and rewarding to be able to see this kind of quality work coming from a Leica Camera. Great work Brian, inspiring, especially as I've been putting off a similar project for quite soem time.....better get on it. Cheers
