<p>Two points on the x-ray phtos; just how much technology is packed into a small, hand held mechanical/optical/electronic image machine. And how much lead or rare earth oxides there are in optical glass to give it the required refractive index for lens design. Light rays may go through lens systems with wonderful correction, x-rays have a much toughter time with all that lead content. Clever, sophisticated engineering overall. </p>
