More questions on M6 TTL books

Recommended Posts

There was a thread earlier about M6 books. Two books caught my eye:

Leica M6 - TTL Handbook by Eastland

Hardcover, 192 pages, over 100 b&w illustrations and 16 pages of colour. The author descripts every aspect of the M6TTL models. A very comprehensive insight on how to obtain the best from the camera.

Leica M6 - TTL by Hunecke

Hardcover, 6 x 8-1/2", 176 pages. Covers the entire use of the Leica M6-TTL camera. This book explains: flash exposure metering, flash control, and rangefinder. It also includes information on the SF-20 flash system, Leica M lenses, and offers practical tips for photographing with the Leica M6-TTL.

Any comments about these? I am particularly interested in the use of the SF-20 - I have one but really have no idea how to use it. "Available light" is good up to a point and I'd love to know more about using a flash with my M6. Obviously, there's no substitute for experimenting but it's nice to have a base level of knowledge. By the descriptions, Hunecke's books seems better but I'd love to hear from someone who has seen both.

Regards,
