clauder
What happened to the monthly lighting themes? Is the concept still active, or have they been cancelled? I know it takes a lot of work and time for brooks and garry to prepare those, so I'd like to thank you here for your commitment over such a long period! These still gotta be one of the most useful features of whole Photo.net!
brooks short
Hi claude, It's my turn this month to post a lighting project and I was late getting it done because of the Labour Day Holiday and my sheer laziness. But it's there now! I'm glad you enjoy these lighting projects.
garry edwards
Hi Claude, Brooks told me last week that he would be spending the long weekend doing it and would post it on Monday.... It's my guess (and hope) that he spent his time lazing in the Florida sunshine instead, recovering from his illness. Must have a word with his wife and make sure he really is taking things easy! brooks short
Hi Garry, Ah, I wish I was lazing about in the sun here in 90 degree Florida. But Instead, I was shooting citrus catalog covers on both Sunday and Monday. Janice was doing the art direction and styling. All I had to do is set up a few lights and press the shutter. It's good to be the photographer!
garry edwards
Brooks, Didn't your cardiologist say something about not working for more than 2 hours a day and not lifting more than 20lb? Reminds me, time I gave Janice a call....
brooks short
Garry, The way my clients see it, it takes a lot of 1/60 sec shutter speed exposures to equal 2 hours of work. #8^) I'm now allowed to lift 40 lbs and work all day! WooHoo! My next cardiologist appt is 6 months from now. By then he won't even remember me. Janice says hi !
clauder
Thanks to you two, I guess patience was never my strong point :-)
Glad to hear that you are recovering Bruce (oh by the way, I spent one of our only nice weekends here in Luxembourg lazing in the sun :-) Guess I'm better off than you guys :-)
clauder
I wish I would proofread my stuff... that should of course be Brooks, not bruce... I'll put a post it on my screen that says 'read your stuff before posting'
