ccrevasse
I attempted to calibrate my 17" Dell flat panel display with a Monaco Optix XR, and received this message: "Your display device or driver does not support color table correction." Does this mean my display cannot be calibrated with the Monaco, or is there some work-around? Thanks.
ethervizion
It means that you cannot make any adjustments to the system's colour look up table (LUT) to calibrate the colours you see, but you still may have *some* room to calibrate via the colour controls directly on the monitor (to at least bring it closer to the desired operating point), and you can still profile the display. Your ultimate goal is calibrate + profile, but just profiling with little or no calibration is better than nothing.
custom film holders for fl
It may be due to your video card. Do you have an actual video card or just an onboard system? You might be able to buy a new card that will make it work. Even the fairly inexpensive Nvidia 5200 and ATI 9200 cards can be calibrated via Monaco.
Doug
Dougs MF Film Holder for batch scanning of 120/220 medium format film with flatbeds
