alfaromeo
I have Spyder2Express that I have always used to calibrate my monitor. I recently swapped the videocard from ATI 9800Pro to ATI 9800XT. After I recalibrated the monitor and applied correct profile and restarted computer everything seemed to be OK, but for 10-20 sec only, then the color data gets reset by apperantly the videocard, even though it displays the correct color profile in the <properties>. I have never had it with the old videocard, not sure what I should do to disable this override. I do not have adobe gamma running either. Any thoughts of what might be wrong or how to fix it? alfaromeo
never mind, I think I 've fixed it. Uninstalled the Catalyst Control Canter and left the ATI drivers only, seems to be working fine.

ted_marcus1
I had the same problem when I upgraded the three-year-old drivers for my Radeon 9800 Pro. There's no need to uninstall Catalyst Control Center if you disable its automatic startup. But uninstalling is probably easier, since CCC is really intended for gamers who want to tweak the settings. <p>I have more specific information in <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00N4xE">this post</a>.
