jay belton
Hi, This is my first time mixing the powdered based XTOL. I'm a little confused about the directions. (Or the simplicity of the pictures). I get 4 liters of water. Then mix in part A. Then part B. Then it just shows a picture with 5 liters next to it. Do I, add another liter OR do I add water until it is 5 liters. I know there will be some water displacement once I add the powder. I'm guessing I add water until it equals 5 liters and shouldn't add another whole liter. Thanks! :)
jorge_oliveira2
James You add water UNTIL 5 liters That's the standard way with any photo solution I've heard about.
jay belton
Thanks Jorge! That's what I thought but I just wanted to be sure. :) Thanks a lot...
stephen hazelton
You normally start with less than the final amount, mix the powder in, then add water to bring it up to the final amount.
m0002a
Make sure part A is completely dissolved before adding part B. If possible, it is best to elevate the temperature about 20F higher than what they say to facilitate mixing. But don't use hot water from the faucet because it just contains a lot more minerals from the water heater. Using distilled water (less than $0.75 per gallon) is a good idea.
