william_foy
I have two Minolta X-700 cameras in which the shutters have frozen and I am sure that the 4 volt 220uf capacitors are the culprit. I don't want to pay a camera repair shop when I have the tools and electronic knowledge to replace these components, however, I can't seem to locate a U.S. company which carries the 4 volt mini caps. If anyone can refer me to an electronics distributor which carries the proper replacement capacitors, I would be most appreciative. Many thanks, Bill
daniel_mcdonald
Try <a href="http://www.digikey.com">Digikey<a> or <a href="http://www.mouser.com">Mouser<a>. Both should have what you need.
