minolta maxxum 7000 battery spring?

  1. perhaps this is more of a simple hardware question than a camera question, but i figure you all would know best. one of the battery springs for my minolta maxxum 7000 popped out and disappeared into the grass below me. Now, of course, the battery will not fit in there. does anyone know any diy solutions? thanks much!
  2. What battery are you talking about? The AAA or AA holder? I have plenty of spares...I can send you one.

  3. While awaiting a new part from a generous Photonetter, you might be able to steal a part from a cheap flashlight, or other battery powered device, or even make a wad of aluminum foil of sufficient thickness to stand in for the spring. You can do a lot with aluminum foil.
  4. gregory, it's AA... how much for a spring?
  5. Sorry, I missed this one. I can send you the whole adapter, no charge. Just send me a note with your email and we can discuss.
