al_kaplan1
I've had a Minolta Autocord since the early 1960's and I remember when they came out with the Autocord CDS about 1964. I recently picked up another Autocord at a yard sale for a couple of bucks. I guess it was so cheap because it looks like crap...LOL. It seems to have originally had a selenium meter but everything from the meter cell to knob where you set and adjust the meter has been crudely removed. The focussing, film transport, and shutter all work just fine. Does anybody have any idea when this version was made or what the model designation might be? Thanks. jay ott
Al, there are several models with a CDS meter but they have different frame counters. The way to tell which one you have is by checking your serial number against the table on this website
al_kaplan1
Thanks for the links. It's a model LMX from 1958 with a Seikosha MX shutter. Considering that everything works and the lens is so clean I think I'll spring for a new covering from Cameraleather.
