mikeivnitsky
Hi!
I have a minolta autocord, which seems to focus past infinity in the viewing lens after a bump it got (i see a backfocus on the films).

What are the possible causes and how do I fix them?

Thanks,
Mike

peterblaise
.

Ouch! I also suffer from "bumped" fixed Minolta lenses and cry each time I realize the gem in my hand is now a manually tweaked remembrance of a once-fine artifact!

Time for a rebuild?
http://www.google.com/search?q=minolta+autocord+service+manual

Let us know how it works out!

.
nobuya_i1
I believe there is a tiny screw on the view lens. You may have to remove the lens housing to access the screw. If you loosen this screw, you can sync the view lens to the take lens by rotating the view lens. You need a loupe, and a piece of spare ground glass attached to where the film sits to check the focus.
