george_bowen1
Will the original MH18 charger that came with my D70S also charge the EN-EL3e battery, or do I need a different charger? My camera came with the 3a battery. Thanks.
ShunCheung
Yes, you cam mix MH-18 and MH-18a with EN-EL3 and EN-EL3e batteries. However, once I changed an EN-EL3e on a MH-18 and after it was fully charged, I moved to to a MH-18a and somehow it continued to charge some more. The MH-18a is the new charger that comes with D200 bodies and EN-EL3e batteries.
george_bowen1
Ok, thanks. So does that mean you need to leave the 3e on the MH18 longer? This begs another question though. What is the difference between the 3a and 3e batteries? And are both compatible with the D70S? I assume they are, but would like confirmation.
