graskett
Is it possible to adapted a 60 CT to use with a Conon D30 or XTi?
michael_madio
Use it on auto or manual as you won't get TTL flash control. It's a good flash and works well with many cameras, both film and digital.
graskett
Thanks Michael. Is there a source where I can get a cable?
michael_madio
Use the standard Metz PC cable. You may need a hot-shoe to PC adapter if your camera doesn't have a PC connection (available as a generic accessory at most camera stores). bdp
I use a 60 CT4 with the 20D fully manual, so if those cameras have a PC outlet, yes, it should work in manual mode. if not, yes, they will work pocketwizards triggering them also.
john_jovic
I've gone back to using my 60 over using a 54mZ3 in "certain" conditions where ttl can often do more harm than good. The 60 kicks ass. JJ
charliexia
i second john jovic. I have the 60 ct4 and use it exclusivly in manual mode. i sync the metz with my Canon 5D via a pair of pocketwizards. it makes a very portable out of studio setup.
