mattvardy
Please see the portraits at http://www.davehillphoto.com for the effect I'mlooking to re create. I was wondering if anyone could help me understand how to create this effect...it appears as if the skin is metallic & soft. Is this the result of HDR technique, lighting, or probably a mix of both? ? Obviously a lot of post-processing is required, but during the shoot what isneeded for this look? Thanks, Matt. emre
You've been on this site long enough to know you don't repeatedly post the same question if you didn't like the answers.
jeannie
Do a search with the words "Dave Hill Flickr". There is a giant thread with PS methods on Flickr.
mattvardy
My original post was deleted by the moderator before I had time to view the posts (due to the photo attachment). My apologies. Unlike the rest of you (apparently?) I live a very busy professional life outside of photo.net and don't check it hourly & heckle people!! Thank you for the information though, I will look into the flickr page.
ricardo_tomasi
Oh please don't!! Very few of those shots are really interesting. They look like ad drawings from the 60s, but with bad colors.
