simon p barlow Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 Hi You should measure from "the film plane" as was, noted by the little symbol -O- engraved on the top of the camera, (just to the left of the prism housing on a Canon 30D, not sure exactly where on a rebel) this is line where the sensor (or film) is, I think the focal point of the lens. regards Simon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
frank uhlig Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 Your camera is an SLR after all, so just check focus in the viewfinder - in case you are out of a measuring tape, for heaven's sake.
