Marty Forscher Polaroid Back for F-1N

<p >My “local” camera store (60 miles away) bought bunch of used Canon 35mm film gear from a retired pro. Included was this Marty Forscher-modified Polaroid back for an F-1N. I’ve heard about these, but never saw one until earlier this week. Here’s a pic I took with my cell phone.</p>

<p>Those NPC backs were big back in the 1980's. I remember seeing them for different SLR's and in particular Hasselblads. Always thought the image looked funny, on one corner of the big Polaroid sheet.</p>

<p>I have two Forscher Probacks (one for my Canon T90, one for my Nikon FM3A) and I love 'em. Don't forget that you can actually get two images on one Polaroid frame. Just take your first shot, pull the white tab to the end of the black fabric, take a second, then pull the rest of the way.</p><div></div>

Forscher was a treasure and we are unlikely to see his like again.</p>

<p>When I was shooting film full-time I had an NPC back for my Bronica ETRS. Could not have lived without it for commercial work. YMMV<br>
