Photo.net is proud to host this wedding photography contest, to be judged by none other than Marcus Bell himself, a noted international wedding photographer featured in photo.net’s October newsletter.

Criteria: Each submitted photograph will be judged on the photographer’s ability to portray a real life wedding moment with impact. Please see the many, excellent examples of such photographs accompanying the interview with Marcus Bell in the October newsletter. As such, the winning photograph should be undirected and not camera-aware. All photographs should have been taken at a wedding.

Eligibility: This contest is open to amateur and professional photographers alike. Photo.net administrators, moderators, and employees are not eligible to participate.

Timing: The contest opens with the appearance of this thread, October 18, 2010. This thread will be left open until Monday, November 1, at noon, U.S.A. Eastern Standard Time, when it will be closed. The winner will be announced some time during the week following the close of submissions.

Prize: One winner will be selected by Marcus Bell, whose sole decision is final. The winner will receive the Marcus Bell Master Collection (effects and actions), value $695USD. The winner must agree to the use of the winning image in any photo.net publications.
