benjamin teoh
Can the RB67 take a digital back?? There are so many for sale at a good price, it is a pity if it cannot be used for digital.
terry_stedman
Ben, look at this. I really don't see the point of a 6 megapixel back on a MF camera though. And, I have no idea how it would work on the non-electronic RB. And, that's freaking expensive. pavelp
Mamiya has compabatibility sheets for most of their cameras and plethoras of digital backs on their website. I do not have direct link but it's not difficult to find.
mike_elek
$15,900! On the other hand, just think of how much you'll save on film and processing. Probably could pay for itself in no time at all.
ryan w. radtke
on the other hand, buy the new canon 20d and save yourself $13000. and still use your rb for film.
benjamin teoh
That's exactly what I will end up doing - using RB especially for B&W, and 20d for outdoor and color photography. The digital backs are still too expensive, perhaps one day the price will come down to being more reasonable for amateur use. Thanks for all the advice. jun_cordero
Please see the press release at the Mamiya website: http://www.mamiya.com/news-events-press-releases-new-mamiya-zd-digital-back-adapter-for-rb67-pro-spro-sd.html At an expense of more than $5000, I woudl recommend you just scan your films.
