Mamiya afd iii problem

Hi!

I bought a Mamiya AFD III with an HM401 film back and I'm having an issue with it.

While the camera works fine when I finish a film and change to a new one It doesn't shoot, I press the shutter release button but It just doesn't work.

To make it work again I have to remove the batteries and put them back again but the same happens after I use a new film.

Any thoughts?

There is custom function C-31 that winds film automatically when back door is closed. Have you tried that? Now, if you can find me CF combinations that disable AF on the front button and transfer it in the AEL button I would be grateful :).
