ronb
I recently changed to a new iMac from an Intel-based PC. I really like my Hewlett Packard S20 scanner and hate it that HP doesn't support Macintosh for this scanner. Does anybody know any way, any way at all that I can get some drivers to use this scanner with my new iMac? I am using OS X 10.2.1 Ron
ray
Your scanner is on the supported list at hamrick.com. Download VueScan -- that should work fine under jaguar. Read the release notes at : http://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/vuescan.htm#supported
jonathan_ratzlaff
Vuesacan only suports the S-20 on the windows platform. You could try a Windows emulator to see if it will support the Photosmart scanner.
mstrada
Good luck. I was in exactly the same predicament, and ultimately (after posting and researching here) was forced to move to the Nikon Coolscan IV. But if there is a way to get my S20 to work as well on my iMac, I'd love to learn it.
