Luminos paper

Having a brief introduction to hand coloring Luminos Papers, it is my

understanding that Hardner should not be used when fixing. And,

rather than having a contrast & hard print, one should perhaps have a

soft, less contrast print--(this I persume is subjective). A question

I have is: should one use selenium toner in the fixing process if one

were going to hand color the final print(colored pencils)? As this is

a new type of paper for me, I would welcome any thoughts,

suggestions, etc from those who might use Luminos papers in their

work. Thank you--Raymond

Selenium is advisable but be aware of the tone change. You are correct in that you don't want to use hardner in the fix. Luminos has some really nice surfaces... Tapestry, Charcoal and RCArt for hand coloring. I do like them alot and you will too! Try them to see which surface you like the most.

Cheers,

Scott
