seth_prince1
i need to record the activity of a cat in my house at night. so its a small, slow-moving target that needs to trigger the motion detection. all of the searches come back with cameras that have every bell and whistle i DO NOT NEED, OR WANT, in a price range i don't want to pay. here is a long list of the only things that i need in this camera: - night vision - motion activation - micro SD card slot - wired connection to computer - driver software so i can watch the video here's what i DO NOT need: - HD of any sort - any kind of mini/micro/hidden/camoflage - wifi - blue tooth - ethernet - 2-way audio - 1-way audio - digital zoom - any kind of zoom - push notifications - android / iphone monitoring - any other unnecessary silliness i bought this thing: Are you a human? but the instructions are entirely unintelligible. the price was spot-on though thanks for your help
Sandy Vongries
Why not look at trail cameras? The lower MP versions are not too expensive & generally dead easy to use.
Jochen_S
I second @Sandy Vongries . Although trail cameras aren't what you want because AFAIK they aren't made for PC connection. and maybe 4 times as expensive as what you got. (I own one and never used it yet, so no real expert.) Yes, I agree with you. If I had a time machine I would go back and buy WingHome trail cameras because I have had one that has been in the woods everyday since 2017, that is the bee's knees! All in all, relatively low price, super high quality! http://www.winghomeview.com/attached/image/20190320/winghome-trail-camera-290c-pic0320.JPG
