Long shots from a DA200 mm

<p>I'm not quite sure what the 'missed' issue is about. Considering that this was a flying bird and as it is only a 200mm you needed to crop pretty heavily it looks pretty good to me.</p>

<p>I agree with Doug, and with your own comment- the resolution looks impressive to me also. The DA* 200mm f/2.8 is certainly a fine lens. But what was your shutter speed?</p>
