vssoutlet
Hi, I have a Nikon D750. It is tethered to my windows 10 computer via USB. I am using lightroom and Ortery Capture software for doing 360 product images. For some reason, I cannot access live view on my PC using either software product. Also, when tethered, pressing the menu or Live button on the Nikon does nothing at all. Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong? Thanks! mike_halliwell
When tethered most of the camera controls are de-activated, that's common to all the software I've used. I personally use ControlMyNikon or, if I must, Nikon's Camera Control Pro 2. Is LV greyed-out or doesn't actually work? Are you actually pressing the LV Button on camera, 'cos that is de-activated too! You need to do everything, except switching on the camera and maybe fully manual focus, from within the software. heimbrandt
I have not used Ortery Capture, but I do know that Lightroom would not be my choice for shooting tethered. From Capture One, you can control the camera fully from the computer; including starting live view from the computer, selecting focus points from the computer and setting the exposure. They have a trial version that you may want to check out.
mike_halliwell
Having just popped to the Ortery website, seems pretty high-end stuff. What hardware and software have you actually got?
mike_halliwell
OP seems to have disappeared?
