patrick_micheletti
I can see a little withe spot (quite transparent) inside the front lens of my 400/5.6, i have also that on my 70-200/4. there is no apparent impact on the pictures, but the question is : Is it normal (as perfect lens is impossible) or is it a problem well known ? I precise : little withe spots are not at the surface of the lens, but well inside the glass.
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a
It's allmost certainly a type of fungus. And your'e right,it has little or no effect on the images when it is so small. <BR>However,if it is fungus you will have to have it cleaned out soon or it may damage the lens surfaces
pontus_gustavsson
If it's fungus it should be on one of the glass surfaces. Could it be a small bubble? If so, don't worry, it doesn't prograde and it won't affect your pictures. /Pontus
