The up in the face approach and use of reflections somewhat reminded me of Vivian Maier, although her work predates Maier and the use of natural light to produce cinematic effects is highly impressive IMO. It’s noteworthy that, like Maier, she never publicized her work, yet her influence possibly disseminated itself through her students to countless photographers in the ensuing generations.
