dmcgphoto Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 <p>Hello all, <br /> I am on a PC, assistant doing post offsite is on a MAC<br> I want to do the cull on the PC<br> Export as Catalog with all the RAW Files-onto an external HD<br> Have her copy the folder of the exported catalog from the external HD to her hard drive on the MAC,<br> do post<br> Export as Catalog (this is all on the same Hard drive)<br> Then I copy the catalog back to the PC and make final changes</p> <p>Can this be done?<br> I'm pretty sure the PC to Mac migration will be a snap, but bringing it back from the Mac to the PC makes me nervous!<br> Any opinions or technical instruction?<br> Thanks<br> daniel</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd keep at least one extra backup copy until your pics come back safe from post. WD external HDs from Wal-Mart work fine for this purpose as an inexpensive solution.
