gary_meader
Coming from Photoshop, I'm used to seeing the cropped areas of an image go black. But in Lightroom 3 & 3.2, the cropped area is definitely not black, but a weak gray. It's distracting to see the cropped image still there. Easier for me to make a crop decision if the background is black. Is there any way I can accomplish this? I can't find any control for it. Thanks
mark_punch
If you do adjust the crop borders to where you like, the background image is there, as you say, but then when you press enter, the crop becomes the final image , without the "ghost" parts....at least that's what happens when I press enter.
If you don't like what you've done , just press "R" and the crop borders will re-appear with the ghost parts so you can re-adjust.
redphoto
You can press 'L' to dim the lights once, press it twice to make the background go completely black, press it a third time to have the background come back full.
