bobcossar
It is just as it says....The light source is a bare bulb. Either Continuous or flash doesn't matter. Just a bare bulb with NO reflectors, softboxes or other modifiers.
dino_quintans
I saw somewhere the type of bulb im referring to, but dont recall anywhere. I am looking for a cylindrical bulb (similar to a large modeling light tube). I saw it once to illuminate a church for a wedding, but I cant seem to find any references to it anywhere.

thanks for the assistance.
b_christopher
Perhaps you're trying to remember the Quantum flash enhancers? Often referred to as "bare bulb." Quantum flashes were(still is?) quite popular with many wedding folks. PNet search result Google Image search result
