"Light-Box" style printers

Recommended Posts

I suspect you're meaning a contact printer, where the prints are the same size as the original negative. I've not used either the Kodak or Ansco equipment, but started out with a Paterson in the late '60s. The problem you're likely to run into these days is that they were designed for "contact" paper, (ie Kodak Velox), which was a lot slower than modern printing papers, so printing times with ordinary printing paper will possibly unmanageably short, also, if your printer has a built-in safelight, this is likely to be yellow/orange in colour, probably unsuitable for normal printing paper, and definitely not suitable for multigrade paper.
