johns1
The only "Hallowell" I know of is a published author and psychiatrist who practices on the east coast (of the USA.) Is there a common thread here?
peter
Sorry I can't help either. The only book I know of that has a near title is "My life with Leica" by Walter Benser who joined Leica prewar and went on to form a successful career selling anddemonstrating the equipment and as a photogrpaher. This is one I can certainly recommend as although it does not have much of technical interest in it, it is full of anectdotes by an interesting and engaging character. jeffpolaski
Read it. I think I have it. It's a vanity-published book by a well-to-do Leica buff who had a close firend in a book publishing. Of al the photographer-centric books I have and have read, it rates pretty low. If you really want it, email me personally I'll check to see if it's the book your want, and I'll send it to you for S&H costs ( which might be a tad higher than normal becaue I'll take as little time as possible getting it into the post.)
