ramon_v__california_
I shoot with a D70 and all my CF cards are Lexar Professional WA 80X.Has anyone used the 133X? Will I see an improvement in writing speed? Will I benefit from it using the D70? I will eventually purchase the D200 before the year ends or if I win the lotto, the D2X. Will the 133X be good investment for the D200? Thanks.
ShunCheung
Unless you shoot action with a D2H(s) or its future successors, it is unlikely that you can take advantage of faster memory cards. If you have sufficient memory cards to get by for now, my suggestion is to wait as long as you can. If you won't buy a D200 until the end of 2006, it is very possible that by then, 133x memory card will be cheaper than today's 80x. If you don't have enough cards, by all means get some more, but with prices dropping, it does not pay to buy for the future.
ramon_v__california_
Thanks, Shun, for the always good thoughts from you. I'll get by with the few cards that I have.
hash
With my D70 I see no perceptible difference in speed between a Lexar 40x 1GB card and a Lexar 80x 2GB card.
