JDMvW
Wow!

As a Kansas boy I can relate to the ball team. But the dolls are creepy, and where the heck did all those trees come from? Hills, too?
Obviously, Lenexa is a Kansas City suburb - my debate squad used to go there for tournaments, but while we could beat Lenexa, Mission Hills tended to crush us. :(

Many thanks.
Lou_Meluso
Yes, Carlos, that is my hometown. The town of Lenexa was plotted out in the 1869. It was named for the wife of the Shawnee Indian Chieftain Thomas Blackhoof. Known in it's early days as the Spinach Capitol of the USA, one of the first residents of Lenexa was James Butler Hickock, later to be known as legendary lawman "Wild Bill". The annual Spinach Festival, along with the International Barbecue Championships are held here each year. Lenexa is listed by a CNN survey as one of the top 100 best places to live in the United States.

As Gene shows, we Kansans take our basketball, and classic cameras, seriously.
tony_lockerbie
Too long between found films, I was getting withdrawal symptoms! rick_drawbridge
Definitely a little spooky...And the basketball fans don't read newspapers nowadays...With a combination of basketball, spinach and classic cameras, Lenexa sounds a great place. Thanks for the post, Gene.

rustys pics
Sound like Weed New Mexico was not far from Roswell. Who needs Aliens when you've got creepy dolls living under rocks? Cool shots. Them Cheerleaders were pretty too.
