chiba
Is there a method for mounting a Lee filter system on a Rollei TLR? ARolleicord in this case. A 4" filter will cover both viewing andtaking lenses, but I've never seen an adaptor and Lee don't list one.Anybody done this?
mskovacs
I bought a bay III to 52mm step up ring so I could use my Nikon filters on my Rollei TLR. It should be possible to mount the filter holder using something similar.
chiba
I get your meaning, but unfortunately if I do that then the 52mm lens adaptor and filter assembly will cover the viewing lens. What I was looking for was some solution that would let the filter unit sit at an offset, so that the round filter assembly wholly encompassed both viewing and taking lenses. It would probably have to bayonet onto the taking lens so that when in the locked position a simple hole would line up with the viewing lens. Maybe only a DIY job? mskovacs
Can you step up to a very large threaded filter size with the Lee holder, one that would circumscribe both lenses looking from the front? I guess you want to use a polarizer?
steve_phillipps
As far as I know Lee will make up holders/rings etc to your specification if you're stuck. How much this costs I don't know.
