LEARN your D90

<p>I recently got it and was wandering if anybody knows good source(website, e-book, videos, est.) to get to know the camera, and its possibilities. Also something about learning Photography would help too, since im just getting into it.</p>

<p>I like John Hedgecoe's "New Manual of Photography" for an all around good book.</p>

<p>The D90 instruction book is a good start. You will learn a lot by reading it and playing with the camera at the same time.<br>

Photography is something that you learn by doing. However there is one book called Light, Science and Magic that you need to read so you can understand the difference in light. Not only artificial light but light in general. Once you understand light you can then capture light with your camera. That is what photography is all about.</p>

<p>Agree with Hansen, the best way to learn the camera is to actually get out and use it, and read the manual of course.</p>

I just bought D90 too. Good place to start with till the time you get used to the menus etc.<br>

Nikon Tutor for D90 really good but not indepth, not a bad place to start.<br>

<p>He gets a lot of guff from some people, and I wouldn't take everything he says as gospel truth, but Ken Rockwell has a lot of great stuff on his website. That's where I learned the basics of photography, and it has done a lot of good to keep up with his site. Hope it helps!</p>
