mike_buckles
I took some portrait shots of my daughter, 35mm Kodak Portra 160NC...had the negs processed and a cheap set of proofs made...now I want some enlargements and better quality, so was looking to send the choice negs to Dale Labs...but I had several questions..I may want to touch up the negs a bit to remove a few blemishes...should I have them scan the negs first, send me the scans, I do the touchups, then send them back the scans to be printed? Their online catalog makes references to touching up enlargements..do they just do it themselves as part of the service? Also, they offer both optical and digital enlargements...anyone use this lab or have any preferences on the output from either? Is one better than the other? And finally, Dale labs offers those Giclee prints...they arent' cheap, but look pretty cool..anyone ever get those done, and what did you think/were you satisfied? thanks for any help, Mike
