josh_standon
Does anybody know what is the largest CF card size that the A2 will use and take advantage of? I am currently using 1G cards, but for a trip, I would like to use 2G or 4G cards so I don't have to bring along a lot of stuff to save my photos on. godfrey
Mine is updated to the last firmware revision (can't recall the number off-hand). I use a Transcend 120x 4G card in it with no problems at all. 300+ RAW files capacity. Godfrey
josh_standon
I think my firmware is current. As I recall there was new firmware just before Sony took over KM. As far as I know there have been no firmware updates since that time.
w.smith
Get an iPod to empty your card onto. It's a bonafide 'PSD' (Photo Storage Device), and quadruples as an MP3 player, a portable video player, and a portable harddisk. The ultimate 4-in-1 gadget. Of course, for security, you'll send a copy of your photos home through http:// www.whalemail.com/, http://www.pando.com/, or http://www.yousendit.com/ before you start on the return trip yourself. That way your photos will already be safely home whatever might happen to your memory cards or PSD.
