daverhaas
Went Goodwill hunting on Sunday and got a Yashica Super 90 for 9.99 and a Konica EE Matic for 4.99 -

The Konica's film advance won't move, nor will the shutter fire. I've tried all the settings on the side of the lens - nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Dave
Mike Howard
If I remember my old EE Matic correctly, the shutter would not fire if the light meter was saying "not enough light to shoot". Maybe the light meter is defunct, and it has locked up the mechanism. Seems like there was a way around this, but I don't remember what it was.
jim_momary
A cousin to the EE is the Auto S2. I've seen issues of that sort when the self-timer was cocked and then the flash synch was moved from X to M. It takes some fiddling to get it to unjam. Not sure about the EE.
The EE, when in auto will not fire if the light level is too low, and it shows a red warning. Not sure if a low/dead battery or circuit = "low light" and hence no go.

Just some food for thought.
Jim
CoryAmmerman
Had the same problem with my Hi-matic. The shutter was frozen and I had to remove the front elements and apply a few drops of Ronsonol to the shutter. Works like a charm now.
