michael_kadillak13
Is Kodachrome still being processed (K 14). Have not been in the loop with slide film for a long time? Cheers!
Robert_Lai
In the USA, the answer is yes: Dwayne's. You can ship it to them through Walmart or Qualex, who will transfer it to them, or ship it to them directly.
berk_sirman2
In Europe the Kodak lab in Lausanne, Switzerland processes them. The turn-around time is long, 2-4 weeks.
robert_johnson15
Yes, I am talking all of my K-14 by the local Wal-Mart Super Center in Franklin, TN. It is taking right at NINE days. Leave it on Monday morning, you can get it the next Wednesday. Dwayne's does a good job and you can't beat the price - $4.88 for a 36 exposure roll! Last rolls I left with a Qualex send in dealer resuled in a MORE THAN two weeks return for both rolls and the cost was $5.99. Use Wal-Mart! jason_fitzmaurice
Use Walmart; however, in the place for instructions I always write "Process K-14) after one roll was ruined after it was processed as e-6. Since writing that I've had no problems in over 20 rolls.
a m
The news from Mississippi is that Kodachrome processing via WalMart is more efficient than before. The last roll took only 7 days, and the clerk called me to tell me that my order was in. This one cost $4.88, while for the previous order, they only charged $2.88/roll. I write the words, "KODACHROME SLIDES" several places on the envelopes in the hope that this will prevent screw-ups. So far, all is well.
andrea_lee3
The UK lab is fast. In Paris the pro labs on Beaumarchais can do two-day processing. Work with it while you can; we're living in the Last Days of Kodachrome...
michael_kadillak13
Thanks guys for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. I got five 24 exposure rolls of 35mm Kodachrome in a package deal for $1.00 at the local Kodak plant here in Colorado and thought I got pooched. I will have to get a few more next time I am up there. Cheers!
RaymondC
I am not too sure what I am going to do, I live in NZ. I emailed a guy and he says K64 PKR and 200 PKL has not been in the stores for like 2yrs here. They say KR are sent to Australia, but I read a old posting that Aust is pulling out in both sales and processing Sept 2004?? So where do I send them now?? USA??
