robert_ante
Many years ago I bought a used Kilfit 90 mm lens to use with my Hasselblad 1000F., that, like all 1000F, died. I then bought a brand new Hassy 2000FCM and, with a new Wihi adapter, continued to use the 90mm as my normal lens. However, I never used as a macro. Unlike many macro lenses, the barrel of the Kilfit seems to give no hint of exposure compensation. Can anyone familiar with this lens provide instructions on how to use with a non TTL camera? AJG
Use the formula M+1 squared, where M= magnification on film. Put a ruler in front of your subject and then measure how big an inch is, for example, on the groundglass to find out what the magnification is. At 1:1, M+1=2. 2 squared is 4 or a two stop exposure increase to get the right exposure.
