dave_dejoy
I recently bought a Pentax K30 and find that photos of the same object or scene seem to vary in exposure. I am shooting JPEGs both with Pentax auto focus and Pentax A lenses. Specific lens does not seem to matter. Any input welcome. Thanks.
michael_elenko
Dave, without posting examples of what you consider good and problematic it is a guessing game on our part. What shooting mode are you using? How 'bout metering?

ME
dave_dejoy
Good point. I'll see what I can do. I am shooting either in aperture priority or program. Largest JPEG. Matrix metering with AF lenses and I believe metering reverts to center-weighted with A lenses. Basically, most of shots seem under-exposed by maybe .5 stop but that's not big deal. But when I essentially shoot the same scene three or four times (with the same lens and settings) in a matter of a couple minutes. Some images seem more under-exposed than others. Thanks.
