bobbollinger
There was a post last August to the effect that the Sigma Super EF500 flash-- their top of the line, as I understand it--was not compatible with the K100D. Does anyone know whether this problem has been fixed by Sigma, and whether the Sigma flash will work with the K10D?
Cire Llissat
Go here and scroll to the bottom. The flash IS compatible with the K100D. I am presuming it will be withg the K10D as well...might be advisable to give them a call. http://www.sigma-photo.co.jp/english/flash/comp_500dg_sup.htm
josphy
It looks like Sigma has updated their EF-500 DG Super and the cheaper EF-500 DG ST to work with P-TTL, so either of those should work with the K10D.
mountainvisions
The DG Super always worked with P-TTL just not with the K100/K10D. works fine in P-TTL on my ist D. I believe beyond a certain serial # they will work with the K10/K100. Below that # they need to be rechipped.
mawz
The current Sigma flashes are not compatible with the K10D. They have an upgrade in the works to enable compatibility (or as much as you'll ever get from a SIGnificantMAlfunction flash).
